what would be the next social network, or where it would be originating from?

All the technologies that I am talking here are not new, all are existing, someone have to implement it I guess.
There are situation we need instant meeting, instant collaboration on the road, on the floor, in the campus, under the tree, in the play ground, local search and sharing. Is there any social network available today?
One obvious answer is to enable mobile technology connect with networks, the physical architecture includes WiFi access points around the community area ex: school, business, collage, etc), all the participants could have device which is wireless enabled such as laptop, Music/Video player, or any other hybrid device. User device’s wireless card would detect the wifi network.

User location can be tractable, and could be displayed in everyone’s device with map. User data not stored centrally, its stored locally, with proper profile and security configuration; all users have full control on their data including current physical location. The network system could be a device centric, meaning only “you” decide whether to share ex: showing your presence, share information. Hence there is no server. It follows p2p technology.
Possible usages: Playgrounds, Cafes, under the tree, etc would become a workplace, Dynamic meeting/Scheduling, Dynamic discovery/finding, Dynamic Sharing contents such as Music, video etc, On the road meeting, On the road friendship (based on profile match), finding free parking slots, traffic jams and slowdowns, available cabs, and ride sharing opportunities. Match buyers and sellers in a mall, on the road trade, instant party, etc
Lets some up the whole scenario, once I entered into the network area, I become part of the social network , based on my configuration, others could find me, share or retrieve information from my mobile device for ex: sms, voice email, video, music, presentation etc. both in real time and asynchronous model. In a long run all these wifi networks connected each other and finally connected with Internet. Ex: your location information can be displayed in your blog in real time.
I expect, few devices would come up with such social networking software, ex:location finder meshed up with maps and allowing user to control over their data. All the commercial devices - iPhone, Zune, iPod and other devices locked in “Social networking on the road”. Only Zune has certain limited social networking feature, ex: sharing music among Zune players with some restrictions. iPhone has wifi access, but looks like a closed platform, users can download or purchased music/video or access internet, but I haven’t see any social nature in iPone.

what do you think? Will it be useful to users? Is there any such network available already?
Personally, I think the next generation will be something that helps people be more social (which mobiles might fit into this) rather than the current generation of social networks that does the opposite.
